I hired a car today and drove from Melbourne to Phillip Island for the MotoGP. It’s more like the Mudo GP though, as it has not stopped pouring rain all afternoon. I am in the campgrounds this year, and boy is it a mud hole!
You can see the mud on the track in the foreground of this picture, and to the right in the background is the campgrounds. I am in the far right, and as you can see, it is just a big field.
The good news is the rest of the weekend should be fine, with Sunday being fine, forecast for 21 degrees. now that’s great racing weather!
BTW – I just found out; somebody here has fireworks!
